Intro To Drawing

Students will have the opportunity to learn about different drawing techniques and mediums in this fun and engaging environment.  Each week, students will be presented with lessons designed to challenge their technical abilities while giving them the freedom to express their unique artistic vision.

Intermediate Drawing

This course is a continuation of the concepts and techniques covered in Intro to Drawing, and is intended for older students who are looking to enhance their previously developed drawing skills.

Just the Two of Us

If cabin fever is setting in, we have your solution!  This child and adult caregiver art class is the perfect excuse to get out of the house and get your creative juices flowing!  This class will not only help your youngster develop their fine motor skills, but you will take home masterpieces worthy of your wall space.  With new projects presented every session, this is a class that will keep you coming back for more, and the best part is… the mess stays here!
Note: Fee is for one adult and one child, second child would be half the fee.

Young at Art

In this incredibly fun and upbeat class, young artists will have the opportunity to learn about the various ways they can express themselves through the arts.  Young at Art goes beyond your typical arts and crafts projects, and introduces students to the wide world of art through theater, dance, and visual arts projects.  Children will be able to freely express themselves in a fully supportive and engaging environment.
Note: New projects are presented every session.

Intro to Sculpture

This introductory sculpture class will expose participants to a wide array of professional, quality art materials, giving them an opportunity to explore sculpture in a new and exciting way.  Weekly lessons will be presented at class time, designed to give participants a starting point, the destination is up to them.

Intro to Painting

This class will present students with a weekly lesson in art and art history.  The students will then adapt and transform the lesson to create works of art that are truly inspirational and personal.  Multiple painting techniques and mediums will be covered during the 8 week timeline, giving participants the opportunity and freedom to explore the many options a painter has to choose from.

This class is for students who have already learned basic painting techniques and are looking to broaden and refine their established skill sets.  Participants will be given weekly lessons designed to enhance their understanding and knowledge of art and art history, while giving them the freedom to create works of art that are as unique as they are.

Textile Transformations

If you have a future fashion designer on your hands, this is the class for them!  Students will have the opportunity to transform their plain clothing into an artistic statement using a variety of textile applications.  Participants will create a design on a silkscreen to print onto T-Shirts, tote bags, and more!  We will transform jeans and T-Shirts into wearable works of art, and create beautiful silk scarves inspired by our galaxy.  (All inks used are non-toxic and made for printing on cotton or cotton blend fabrics, linen, rayon, polyester, and most other synthetics, except nylons.  Please pre-wash all items prior to class time)

*Please be sure participants are dressed for a mess as these materials stain*

*Gloves will be provided, please note any latex allergy at time of registration*

Note:  Included in the class cost is 1 silk scarf and 1 canvas tote bag.  Participants must provide jeans (1 pair) and T-Shirts (up to 10 shirts) from home.

Landscape Painting

Join us and learn the joy of painting trees, valleys, mountains, and the desert... whatever your heart desires is what the landscape expresses.  Bring a picture that means something to you and a memory of where you have been or where you want to be.  Pictures will also be provided.  We will work with acrylic on canvas and creativity will be at the forefront.
