Mixed Media Masterpieces
In the art world there are no limits, so why limit yourself to one medium? In this class, students will have the opportunity to sculpt, collage, paint, draw, and more! Weekly lessons will be presented at class time, giving participants the opportunity to explore the wide world of mixed media art, where the only limitation is your imagination.

This 8 week course outlines various techniques in drawing using pencil, color pencil, charcoal, crayon, pen and markers. The course will introduce participants to composition, siting the subject on paper, shading and using color to create a finished drawing.
This class will present students with a weekly lesson in art and art history. The students will then adapt and transform the lesson to create works of art that are truly inspirational and personal. Multiple drawing and painting techniques and mediums will be covered, giving participants the opportunity and freedom to explore the many options an artist has to choose from.

No paints or crayons or pencils for this class! Just a lot of imagination, a pair of scissors, a bottle of glue, and all of the different colors and textures we can think of to make our works of art. Like a quilt made of cloth, a mosaic made of tiles, or a stained glass, beautiful works of art are often made from pieces of materials. It will be a lot of fun to create a different picture each week with the little objects that surround us each day!

In this hands-on fiber arts class, students will dive into the colorful world of textiles—learning the basics of hand weaving, experimenting with soft sculptural forms, and creating their very own handmade stuffed characters. Using yarn, fabric, and a variety of fun materials, participants will explore how texture, structure, and simple stitching can transform fibers into unique, dimensional works of art. No experience needed—just bring your imagination!
This hands-on course introduces students to the creative possibilities of mixed media art. Through layering materials such as paper, fabric, paint, found objects, and drawing media, students will experiment with texture, composition, and personal expression. Projects will focus on combining techniques like collage, mark-making, painting, and simple construction to create unique, dimensional artworks.

Nothing prevents a good program from running more than waiting until the last minute to register for it. Classes that have a low enrollment are generally cancelled approximately one week prior to the first meeting date. Please register for your programs as early as possible to avoid cancellations.
