"Let Me Tell You" Curated Storytelling Jam Closes Out 2024 with Over 60 Storytellers and Looks Ahead to an Exciting 2025

Berwyn, Illinois– December 2, 2024 – Let Me Tell You, a free monthly storytelling event hosted by two-time Moth winner Errol McLendon, wrapped up an incredible 2024 season. With over 60 storytellers participating throughout the year, this beloved event has become a staple of the local community, bringing together people of all walks of life to share personal, poignant, and often hilarious stories.

As the year draws to a close, McLendon and the team behind Let Me Tell You are excited to look ahead to an even bigger and better 2025, continuing the tradition of fostering connection, creativity, and community through the art of storytelling.

"Everyone tells stories," said Errol McLendon, event host and two-time Moth winner. "At family gatherings, in coffee shops, in bars—stories are everywhere. This event is about creating a space where people can share those stories with others. Whether it's funny, sad, or somewhere in between, it's the personal connections that make storytelling so powerful."

The event is open to anyone who has a story to tell. Stories can be humorous, touching, historical, or deeply personal. They can be about love, loss, triumph, or regret—anything that resonates. First-time tellers are welcomed and encouraged, and the event provides an opportunity for people to share their own experiences in a supportive, community-focused environment.

• How to Participate: If you would like to tell a story at the next Let Me Tell You storytelling jam, submit a description of a 7-8 minute story to errol.mclendon@gmail.com. Your story can be about any subject that feels meaningful to you.

To help participants craft and enhance their stories, a free Zoom workshop will be offered two weeks prior to each event. The workshop provides an informal, relaxed setting where storytellers can refine their narrative skills. One-on-one coaching is also available for anyone looking for personalized support.
