The Park District will be making plans for improvements in many areas of operations.
The improvements will include new programs, upgraded maintenance, enhanced information technology, community-based marketing, facility upgrades and facility additions.
This plan, NBPD 2.0, is a blueprint for the future of the North Berwyn community.
This park district master plan will incorporate projects that have been identified as future needs for North Berwyn residents.
Plans for a fitness center, dog park, community garden program, renovated playgrounds and water parks will be phased into the future planning.
NBPD 2.0 will also include IT upgrades such as online registration as well as new innovative programs and infrastructure improvements. The district will also begin replacing outdated maintenance vehicles, vans used for before and after school programs and a new up to date senior bus to transport some of our most valuable park patrons.
ANN MACKIN PARK PROJECT UPDATE
Ann Mackin Park is the largest recreational addition to the City of Berwyn in the past 30 years. This project could not have been possible without the support of the North Berwyn voters that approved the only referendum in the history of the North Berwyn Park District, Congratulations!
Ann Mackin Park has been developed with the input of the residents that attended community planning meetings and gave their opinion of what the needs are for the community in the future.
