JCV RENTAL POLICIES:

Deposit $350.00 - Required to secure date.

50% Payment Due: 14 days before the event

100 % payment Due: 7 days before the event

Event layout due: 10 days before event

Liquor arrangements: due 10 days before the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

‍

CANCEL 31 days before the event:

100 % refund of all fees paid including deposit.

‍

CANCEL 30 days before the event:

50% refund of deposit, all other fees paid will be refunded.

‍

CANCEL 14 days before the event:

100% of the deposit lost, all other fees paid will be refunded.

‍

SECURITY REQUIREMENT:

The City of Berwyn requires Berwyn police to be present when liquor is being served at events.

The park district requests Berwyn police when a deposit is submitted for an event. While, police coverage is usually secured, there may be times coverage is not available. This may result in the event being cancelled but the park district will exhaust all options before considering cancellation of an event.

DECORATING:

The park district will make every effort to allow renters to have time to decorate. Arrangements will be made based on other scheduled events at the facility. Minimally, renters will be allowed two hours of time on the day of the event to decorate.

PARK DISTRICT RULES:

The Park District reserves the right to enforce any additional rules that may not be listed or included in the rental agreement. This discretionary authority is based on circumstances that may arise and actions for the good of the park district. The park district may exercise discretionary authority without prior notice. Renting the Joseph C. Vallez facility is assumed approval and agreement to all rules and policies.

Party Wagons Coming Soon!

Planning a block party this year? Looking to host a community event?

The North Berwyn Park District (NBPD) is here to help! In fact, the NBPD now has 8 block party wagons filled with the equipment needed to make your next event seamless and easy to plan.

Available to residents and local organizations, each party wagon contains:

• 10 tables
• 100 chairs
• PA system
• 4 Barricades
• Pop-up Tent
• Corn Hole Set

Please note that you must obtain a Block Party Permit from the City of Berwyn PRIOR to booking a wagon if you are using it for a block party.
All other rentals for events where a permit is not required can start the rental process immediately.
