NBPD Cooling Center

Due to the excessive heat forecasted for today August 23rd and tomorrow August 24th, the North Berwyn Park District will open it's doors at 1619 Wesley Ave. as a Cooling Center for the following hours:

August 23rd and 24th
Hours: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm

DURING EXTREME HEAT:

Drink plenty of water

Avoid going outside

Keep electric lights off or turned down

Minimize use of your oven and stove

Wear loose, light or cotton clothing

Don't leave people or pets in a closed car, even for a few minutes

Check on family, friends, and neighbors

Visit a Cooling Center if needed
