NBPD Hosts Creative and Festive Paint and Pour Event

Berwyn, Illinois – December 13, 2024 – On Friday, December 13, the North Berwyn Park District (NBPD) hosted a vibrant and engaging Paint and Pour event that brought the community together for an evening of creativity and holiday spirit.

Participants 21+ years gathered at the Community Center, 1619 Wesley Ave. to paint decorative pots and plant succulents, creating personalized pieces that will add a touch of festive cheer to their homes this holiday season. The event, which provided both a relaxing and fun atmosphere, gave attendees the opportunity to express their artistic flair while enjoying the company of friends and neighbors.

“The Paint and Pour event was a wonderful opportunity to get creative, unwind, and celebrate the season with our community,” said Joseph Vallez, Executive Director at NBPD. “We’re grateful to everyone who joined us, and we’re excited to offer more events like this in the future!”

In addition to painting and planting, attendees were treated to a warm, welcoming environment and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow community members. Whether a seasoned artist or a first-timer, everyone left with a beautiful hand-painted pot and a vibrant succulent to enjoy throughout the season.

The event was part of NBPD’s ongoing efforts to bring the community together through fun and interactive events that promote creativity, well-being, and local engagement.
