North Berwyn Park District Hosts a Fun-Filled Easter Parade

Berwyn, Illinois – March 30, 2024 – On Saturday, March 30, 2024, the North Berwyn Park District kicked off its Easter celebrations with the annual Easter Parade, attracting families from across the community for a lively and festive event. The parade began promptly at 10:30 AM from Jefferson Field (located at 16th & Wenonah Ave.), and brought an air of excitement to the streets as participants donned their Easter finest and gathered for the celebration.

Leading the parade was none other than the Easter Bunny, who, instead of hopping, rode in style on a decorated float, waving and spreading holiday cheer to onlookers as the parade made its way down 16th Street toward Prairie Oak Gym. The event was a wonderful prelude to the Easter Eggstravaganza, which followed immediately after the parade at Prairie Oak Gym.

The Easter Parade was free for all to attend and participants of all ages were welcome to join in the fun. Whether they were marching alongside the bunny or enjoying the festivities from the sidelines, the parade provided a heartwarming community experience.
