North Berwyn Park District’s Fall Fest & Trunk or Treat: A Huge Success with Over 600 Kids and 60 Participants!

Berwyn, Illinois– October 26, 2024 – The North Berwyn Park District (NBPD) would like to extend a huge thank you to all the families, participants, and volunteers who made this year’s Fall Fest & Trunk or Treat event such a fantastic success! On Saturday, October 26, 2024, over 600 kids joined in the fun, and 60 participants, including Windy City Jeep Club and Windy City Classic Cars, made this year’s celebration an unforgettable experience for the entire community.

The event featured a vibrant and festive atmosphere with creative costumes, themed decorations, and plenty of Halloween fun for all ages. Children enjoyed trick-or-treating through the parking lot, where cars were beautifully decorated and filled with treats, while families had the chance to admire the stunning vehicle displays from the Windy City Jeep Club and Windy City Classic Cars.

“We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for this year’s Fall Fest & Trunk or Treat,” said Jim Kearns, Board of Commissioners President, at North Berwyn Park District. “The level of creativity in the costumes and car decorations was incredible! It’s wonderful to see the community come together to make this event such a success, and we couldn’t have done it without all of the amazing participants and volunteers.”

The event also featured a variety of other activities, from games and crafts to music and food, creating a fun, family-friendly atmosphere for everyone. The energy and excitement in the air was contagious, with children eagerly running from trunk to trunk, collecting candy and admiring the spooky decorations along the way.

“We loved seeing the creativity of all the participants, both young and old,” continued Jim. “The costumes were spectacular, and the car displays from Windy City Jeep Club and Windy City Classic Cars added a fun, unique twist to the event.”
