North Berwyn Park District's Inaugural: Haunted House & Storytelling Tour Sells Out!
Berwyn, Illinois– October 25, 2024 – The North Berwyn Park District (NBPD) is excited to announce that its inaugural: Haunted House & Storytelling Tour on Friday, October 25, 2024, was a sold-out success! The event provided a spine-tingling adventure for all ages as participants explored the most decorated Halloween houses in the neighborhood before gathering around for a series of scary stories that sent shivers down spines and brought plenty of laughs.
Held at the Joseph C. Vallez Activity Center at 1529 Harlem Ave., the event saw families, friends, and neighbors come together to enjoy a truly unique Halloween experience. Guests started the evening with a guided tour of the eeriest, most creatively decorated homes in the area. After the tour, attendees gathered around to hear spooky storytelling that was both chilling and humorous, making for a memorable night of thrills and fun.
“We are beyond thrilled that our inaugural: Haunted House & Storytelling Tour sold out,” said Tara Tischer, Superintendent of Recreation at North Berwyn Park District. “It was wonderful to see the community come together for such a fun, spooky adventure. The enthusiasm and creativity of the participants—both in their costumes and in the decorations at the houses—made it a night to remember!”
